What to do when your child gets an owie before family pictures

You’ve scheduled your family pictures. Your outfits are all coordinated and ready for the big day. You’re just hoping for no curve balls before your family piles into the car to head out for family portraits. And then, your child comes home with a a big goose egg on their forehead. What to do? Have no fear - kids will be kids, and sometimes a little (or maybe even a big) injury is bound to happen at some point. And while we’d all love for the timing of said injuries to not be within a short window of professional portraits, sometimes, it just happens.

Senior pictures are all about celebrating a high school senior’s unique qualities and to celebrate a huge milestone in life. It’s one thing that I absolutely love about senior portraits - getting to learn about what seniors love and then translating that into a custom portrait session that will reflect exactly that. And I think we accomplished that for this Elkhorn South High School skateboarder.

When the Moore family reached out to me about family portraits that would include both their new horse, Charles (Chuck for short) and their dog Bailey, I was up for the challenge.
